BREAKING NEWS: Murder suspect captured

Tuesday, August 19, 2008

The Shelbyville man accused of first degree murder in Williamson County has been captured.

Timothy William Sparrow, 24, was taken into custody in Tullahoma early this afternoon after Bedford County authorities were notified of his location by a telephoned tip, Sheriff Randall Boyce said.

"We got a tip that he was on Grundy Street in Tullahoma," Boyce said. "Williamson County was here with us at the time. We hooked them up with Tullahoma police and they left immediately."

Sparrow allegedly killed a College Grove man in his home early Monday morning, the Williamson County Sheriff's Department said. He was later spotted, and briefly chased, in Shelbyville a few hours later before eluding authorities.

Well thats one confict that we knew about. And he needed to be off the streets.

But its all the ones that are out there that we don't know about.

Hope Williamson County locks him up and throws the key away.
