The resident, who police said doesn't speak English well, told officers two white men said they were looking for "Rodriguez" and needed to enter the apartment. No one by that name lives there, officers were told, but the resident allowed the visitors inside.
The men were described as in their 20s, around 6 feet tall, each with a medium build, and driving a dark blue or black car similar to a Chevrolet Corsica, police said.
Drug charges
Drugs were found in three vehicles following traffic stops over the weekend, Shelbyville police said.
* A bag allegedly containing 5.12 grams of marijuana was found in a car driven by Michael Wallace Bridges Jr., 25, Industrial Parkway, after he was clocked driving 60 mph in a 30 mph zone on Madison Street Friday night, Officer Jody Shelton said.
Bridges was arrested after repeatedly interrupting and refusing to follow directions before field sobriety tests, Shelton said.
Charges of DUI, third offense driving on a revoked license, possession of schedule VI drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding 21 mph over the limit and violation of the implied consent law were filed against Bridges, Shelton said.
Bridges posted $4,500 bond, Bedford County Jail records indicate.
* Joshua Leon Richardson, 32, Russell Street, was charged when officers allegedly found a marijuana joint on him and a bag of marijuana in his car Saturday.
Richardson was stopped for allegedly driving 46 mph in a 30 mph zone on West Highland Street, police said. He was charged with driving on a revoked/suspended license and possession of a schedule VI drug and posted $1,250 bond.
* Officers looking for what a caller termed a "suspicious vehicle" on Lipscomb Street Sunday stopped Danyella Lotren Ransom, 30, Madison Street, and allegedly found crack cocaine and two Soma pills.
Ransom was stopped because her vehicle's taillights weren't working, police said.
She was charged with driving without a license and possession of schedule II and IV drugs and released from Bedford County Jail on $5,250 bond.

Why didn't Ransom get a ticket for the broken tail light?
The officer's hand was probably cramping from writing all the other citations/warrants! HAHA
