Special T-G section to honor Moving Wall, Vietnam vets

The Shelbyville & Bedford County History Museum will sponsor the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Moving Wall from Thursday, Oct. 30, to Monday, Nov. 3, at Riverwalk Park in Shelbyville.

To coincide with the event and to honor Bedford County's Vietnam veterans, the Times-Gazette will publish a commomorative Vietnam Veterans Memorial Edition on Tuesday, Oct. 28.

The special section will feature stories about Bedford County's 12 fallen Vietnam heroes; many of the county's living Vietnam veterans; how the Moving Wall came into existence; the keynote speakers at the opening ceremonies; the schedule of events; and more.

Vietnam veterans and their families may purchase space in the commemorative edition in their honor. Those interested in honoring a veteran, or businesses wishing to take part in this meaningful publication may call the advertising department at 684-1200 Ext. 220.
