USN sweeps past Webb volleyball team

University School of Nashville brought the brooms with them from Music City as they swept Webb 25-11, 25-11, 25-12 in East/Middle Region at the Barton Athletic Center on Tuesday.

Zola Quao was one bright spot at the net for the Lady Feet (0-4, 0-2) with six kills, five digs and five blocks. Stephanie Erickson contributed four kills and three blocks.

The Bell Buckle girls head to Jackson County for a tournament this weekend.

Eagleville 3, Community 0: All good things come to an end.

The Lady Eagles brought the four-game winning streak of the Viqueens to a halt by blanking the visitors 25-17, 25-13, 25-9.

Amy Nesius provided nine set assists for Community (4-3, 2-2 District 11-A/AA). Lauren Freeman totaled five kills and five points off serve. Kassidy Lane had four kills and four assists. Megan Busbee added four kills.

The Viqs hope to get back on track this afternoon when they host Class AAA foe Lincoln County.
