Q: I've heard that credit union credit cards are more affordable than others. Is your credit card affordable?

A: Yes. Recently, the financial industry adjusted to new credit card regulations. Many credit card companies raised rates prior to the new regulation effective date. Even credit card holders who paid their balance each month received notices that their rates were going up. More and more credit card users are looking to credit unions for affordable rates. Currently, based on your credit score, your rate on our Platinum VISA credit card could be as low as 8.99% Annual Percentage Rate. Rates will vary according to your credit history, but even our highest rates are lower than many of the other's lowest rate. Anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Bedford, Rutherford or Marshall counties can join Heritage South Community Credit Union.
