Injury hurts Webb at Vaughn's Creek

Harpeth Hall claimed first among girls teams and Martin Luther King owned the top spot on the boys side during a cross country meet at Vaughn's Creek on Tuesday.

Due to a runner being injured in the race, the Webb girls did not score as a full team and did not place. Ellen Williams clocked a time of 23 minutes, 45 seconds for the best effort for the Lady Feet.

Webb's boys placed ninth out of 11 teams. Damien Launay was their best runner on the day at 18:52.

Ensworth was second and David Lipscomb third in girls action. David Lipscomb took second and Father Ryan third in boys.

David Lipscomb's Miranda Klein (19:43) was the fastest overall female.

Micah Wasserman of MLK crossed the tape as the first male in 15:17.
