Community's hopes of getting an upset over District 11-A/AA powerhouse Page fell to the wayside as the Lady Patriots defended their home turf 25-14, 25-10, 25-16 on Thursday.

Kassidy Lane came up with a team-high five kills for the Viqueens (9-8). Amy Nesius contributed four service points and three kills. Lauren Freeman tallied three points and three aces.

Community plays host to cross-county rival Webb on Tuesday afternoon at 5. It will be Senior Night.
