The victim said the suspect entered his Deery Street house by breaking door glass, then grabbed him, threw him on a couch and grabbed the wallet from a pants pocket before fleeing.
Contents included $212 and personal documents, police said.
The suspect was described as black, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing aproximately 200 pounds, and wearing a white shirt and light-colored, possibly white, pants.
* Approximately $1,500 worth of jewelry was stolen from a Shaw Road residence during the day Tuesday, a Bedford County Sheriff's Department report said.
Entry was made through a window, the BCSD said.
* Two lawn mowers were stolen between 4 and 10:30 p.m. Wednesday from outside a residence on Old Columbia Road, a BCSD report said.

* Antonio Pena Gutierrez, 55, Murfreesboro; public intoxication; held, $500 bond
