Feet golfers advance in state

Four Webb golfers earned the right to compete in the individual portion of the Division II Class A state golf tournament at Old Fort Golf Course in Murfreesboro. Each had a respectable showing in the first day of play.

Sutton Jones turned in the top score for the Feet by stroking a 91. Blake Cocanougher followed with a 98. Garrett King scored a 108.

Ryan DuLaney of Harding Academy heads the field after carding a 70. St. George's Hunter Kraus and SEBC's John Michael Sisinni follow closely with a 71 apiece.

On the girls side, Calli Kerbo of the Lady Feet banged out a 128.

Davidson Academy's Stephanie Smith tops the girls leaderboard heading into the second day with a 73.

St. George's leads in both boys (288) and girls (149) team competition.
