Car wash hit by three thefts

National Car Wash on Madison Street has been the site of three separate incidents of theft, Shelbyville police are reporting. Someone entered the control panel and bill acceptors on Dec. 7, 8 and 9, according to the manager, and removed money.

Police have been given the names of suspects who recently ceased their employment at the car wash.

Other incidents reported by local authorities:

* Randy Lee Taylor reported to Bedford County deputies that someone entered his home on Midland Road over the past weekend and took jewelry and cash.

* Benjamin Adam of Jordan Dr. told Shelbyville police someone entered his vehicle over the weekend on stole car stereo equipment and a gold chain.

* A three-month old pit bull puppy was taken from the residence of Barbara Cooper at Ranchero Lot 1 Sunday night. The dog is described as a female, white with brown spots on both ears and left hip with green eyes and wearing a red collar.

Jail intake

The following were arrested since Monday by the Bedford County Sheriff's Department, Shelbyville Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol or 17th Judicial District Drug Task Force and processed through Bedford County Jail. They are only charged; guilt or innocence will be determined by the courts.

* Esther Miriam Lewis, 23, Maplewood Dr.; to serve time - general sessions court; held.

* Marcel Darcy Bartlebaugh, 25, Belmont Rd.; aggravated burglary, theft of property; held, $20,000 bond.

* Deontre Lamon Bone, 20, Huntsville, AL; burglary, theft of property ; released, $12,000 bond.

* Russell Shannon Campbell, 34, Old Hickory, TN; public intoxication; released, $250 bond.

* John K. Harris, 27, Hobson Ave.; criminal responsibility for conduct of another; released, $2,500 bond.

* Jeffery Daniel Hughes, 47, Cessna Lane; serving weekend GS court; held.

* Dontaye Marquez Jefferson, 19, Madison, AL; burglary, theft of property; held, $12,000 bond.

* Devon Leandry Johnson, 19, Chicago, IL; burglary, theft of property; held, $12,000 bond.

* Timothy Ford McCain, 19, Burt St.; credit card fraud, identity theft, forgery; held, $15,000 bond.

* Silvestre Ramirez Osorio, 21, King Arthur; no drivers license; released, $500 bond.

* Tammy Lynn Parham, 38, Madison St.; violation check law; released.

* Manuel Jonael Quinonez, 19, Cedar River Rd.; violation of probation; released, $2,500 bond.

* Randy Ray Allen, 26, Baker St.; criminal responsibility for conduct of another, theft of property, bondsman surrender; held, $46,500 bond.

* Danny Ray Robertson, 47, Warner Bridge Rd.; theft of property; released, $1,000 bond.

* Britney Michelle Slavick, 19, Burt St.; criminal responsibility for conduct of another; held, $2,500 bond.

* Jessie James Stewart, 29, McDale Ln.; failure to appear (three counts); held, $23,000 bond.

* Richard Anthony Wilhoite, 32, Temple Ford Ln.; domestic assault, vandalism; released, $5,000 bond.

* David Lee Farris, 26, Knight Campground; violation of probation; released, $2,500 bond.

* Hermino Garcia, 30, Central Ave.; violation of probation; released, $2,500 bond.

* Shaun Earl Gibson, Lorien Circle; domestic assault; released, $7,500 bond.

* Sammy Lee Harris, Jr., 34, Fayetteville; failure to appear; held, no bond.

* Juanita Gene McGear, 37, Woodbury St.; domestic assault; released, $5,000 bond.

* James Norman Polluck, Jr., 39, Wartrace/Bell Buckle Road; bigamy; released, $500 bond.

* Robert Andrew Slaughter, 20, Hwy. 82 South; theft of property - (three counts); released, $8,000 bond.

* Michael Carl York, 44, Peacock Ln.; possession of schedule I; released, $5,000 bond.

* Marco Antonio Zuniga, 27, Maple St.; driving on revoked, financial responsibility, violation of registration law; released, $2,000 bond.
