The contest was a thorough battle on both sides of the court, but in the fourth quarter the Feet (9-4, 3-0 East/Middle) sealed the deal with four back-to-back free throws sunk by Logan Burchett.
"I thought our kids played at a higher level and played harder," Feet coach Jeff Mitchell said. "Their defense just slowed us down a little bit. We didn't get out and transition like we needed and get some easy baskets. We played that kind of half-court game, which we struggled with a little bit."
From the tipoff to the final buzzer neither team let up and fought head-to-head. With Hunter Foutch on the bench due to an injury, the Feet had to compensate on their scoring offense.
Webb barely led, 15-15, after the first quarter. This had little effect on SAS as Webb increased their lead in the second and journeyed to the locker room with a 29-22 lead.

"The main thing is we held our home court, went to 3-0, and that's big," Mitchell said. "I'm proud of them, because it wasn't our best offensive performance. We held them to 40 (points), when they shot it pretty well."
Miles Davis led the Feet with 19 points. Burchett nailed down 11 and was 9-of-10 from the line. Every Webb player scored.
Jamie Reese paced the Mountain Lions with 16 points. Demetrius Dowling helped the effort with 15.
Webb visited Community on Saturday.
"We'll do the best we can and see what we can bring," Mitchell said. "Hopefully we'll play well (Saturday) night.
