Shirley Fay Pigg George, 68, of Wheel, died Thursday morning at her residence after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Emmett Arnold and Doug Dezotell officiating. Burial will follow at Horse Mountain Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5 until 9 p.m. Friday and beginning at noon Saturday.
