Bonnie Saunders

"I used to make green cookies, and I still wear green on that day."

Debbie Rogers

"I always buy a shirt with either the words 'St. Paddy's Day' or a shamrock on it. It has to have green somewhere so I don't get pinched.

Betty Felder

"I'm originally from Louisiana, and we really celebrated it down there. On the Sunday before St. Patrick's Day, there was always a big parade, and my aunt lived right at the corner. We all fixed big things of chili and the trimmings and went to the parade. When it was over, we ate the chili. It was so much fun.

Betty Whitaker

"I am celebrating a day with my friends from the Red Hat Society. We are having a one-day early Red Hat St. Patrick's Day celebration with another group of Red Hatters from Spring Hill. It's going to be a lot of fun."

Tisha Lanier

"I try to stay home and stay safe and away from all the people who do celebrate it by getting drunk."
