ONLINE EXCLUSIVE: AT&T confirms outageWednesday, April 8, 2009 ~ Updated 9:36 AM

Glad that I have United and Directv!
I heard estimates of approximately 1,800 phone and/or DSL lines... Our work was greatly affected (as inbound phone calls are 99%) of our revenue! But, as of 4:00 p.m. today our lines were operable again!
Just wonder if AT&T will discount their bill for the outage. This has bound to affect these businesses. Now days many businesses are online and telephone businesses that don't have walk in customers. This is absolutely AT&T at their finest. I am so glad that I am with Birch Communications. I might add they are much cheaper for the same services and a lot nicer people in customer service.
Not that I am any fan of AT&T but this wasn't their fault. The guys digging the sewer lines near Rite-Aid snapped a line, and the fact that AT&T was able to repair it within 24 hours really isn't that bad.
