It's wedding season!
Are you planning on getting married this summer, or have you had a recent wedding?
Well, let us know about it!
The Times-Gazette will be publishing its annual bridal section on Thursday, May 14.
The newspaper will hold all further wedding and engagement announcements until that issue.
We encourage all spring and summer brides to submit their announcements for inclusion in the special section no later than Friday, May 8.
Forms can be picked up at our offices, at 323 E. Depot St. in Shelbyville, or may be filled out and submitted from this page.
Wedding and engagement announcements may also be submitted to our office in person, or by e-mailing Doug Dezotell at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Forms must be neatly printed or typed, and the spelling of all names should be double checked before submitting them to us. A phone number must be included.
When you got married, all those years ago, did you have an unusual wedding proposal or ceremony? If you did, and you would like us to possibly write a feature story about it, please call lifestyles editor Sadie Fowler at 684-1200 ext. 214.
Local businesses that would like to promote their bridal gifts and specials in this widely-read section can call the Times-Gazette's advertising department at (931) 684-1200, and ask for Sissy Smith (ext. 220), Janis Cannon (222), Bryan Crosslin (224) or Beth Peissig (221).
