Timber stolen from Scales Road property

Timber was cut without permission on approximately 6 1/2 acres of land on Scales Road, the Bedford County Sheriff's Department was told Tuesday.

The victim, a Mulberry resident, was unable to estimate a monetary loss, the report said.

* Parts were stolen from at least five vehicles at Hurst Motors, Madison Street, overnight Monday, Shelbyville police said.

Items listed as missing included stereo and air conditioning charging systems, police were told.

* A two-wheel utility trailer was stolen from beside a Coble Road residence overnight Monday, the BCSD was told.

* Lenski Devol Fulton, 45, Davis Street; failure to appear; held, $2,500 bond

* Tulane Kenna Maddox, 42, West Blackman Boulevard, Wartrace; possession of schedule II drug (two counts); released, $50,000 bond

* Anthony Jason Merlo, 38, Elm Street; driving on revoked/suspended license; released, $1,000 bond

* Arnold Tate Sandusky, 45, Chapel Hill; criminal trespassing; released, $1,000 bond

* Donald Glenn Underwood, 45, Lipscomb Street; violation of probation; released, $2,500 bond

* Claude Alexander Watkins, 40, Hillsboro; check law, violation of probation; released on recognizance
