Newt J. Cooper

Funeral services for Newt J. Cooper, 89, of Unionville, who died Tuesday in Shelbyville, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill. The Rev. David Wall will officiate and burial will follow in Simpson Cemetery in Rover.

Visitation with the family will begin at 4 p.m. today.
