Huff earns first place in Friday's Fun Show

As the crowd was settling into its seats Friday night, seven young riders answered the gate call in the Owner-Amateur Youth Riders 12 to 17 Years on Walking Mares or Geldings.

Receiving the first blue ribbon of the evening was Shes Push In Command JA and Lindsay Hess. The reserve honors in the class went to Summer Brooks on Sweepstakes Pzazz.

The team of I'm A Evil Rebel and Yvonna Matthis stole the second blue ribbon of the night in the Owner-Amateur Show Pleasure Walking Horses class. The reserve honors in the talented class went to Free to Score and Joel Stewart. The third tie in the class went to Hawks True Love and Patti Pollack from Saratoga, CA. and Shelbyville.

I'm P. Diddy and Sherri Pollack from Saratoga, CA unanimously won the blue in the Owner-Amateur Riders on Walking Stallions, Over 15.2 for the second year in a row. Reserve in the top class of horses and riders went to the Jazzed Up and Brenda Bramlett. The third place honor was awarded to C Me Push and Sister Milligan of Panama City Beach, FL.

Topping the Owner-Amateur Park Performance division was The Concealed Weapon and Patti Pollack for the fourth year in a row. The reserve award went to San Juan and Eric Lackey. The third award was given to Uncle Huston and Landon Head.

Following the Amateur Park Pleasure Division was the Owner-Amateur Youth Country Pleasure. Receiving the blue ribbon in this class was A Red Ruby and Mackenzie Morgan. The reserve ribbon went to Vigors Dixie Chick and Allison Thorson.

Some of the industry's top Three-Year-Old Walking Mares or Geldings answered the gate call for class number-22. Riding out of this class and into the blue ribbon circle was Jazzy Sally and Jimmy McConnell. Reserve honors were awarded to Limestone Lucy and Knox Blackburn. The third tie in this talented group of young horses was The Chorus Line and Brandon Stout.

The amateurs returned to the ring for the Owner-Amateur Riders on Walking Mares, Over 15.2. Taking the top honors in this talented group of mares was Pushovers Jazzy Lady and Bruce Vaughn. The red ribbon and reserve honors went to Dark Escape and Brent Jones. The third place tie went to Showboats Showgirl and Nancy Clements.

A large class of Owner-Amateur English Trail Pleasure took the ring next. Riding into the winner's circle was Hitch and Jennifer Bingham. The reserve honors and ribbon went to Push N For Pleasure and Patti Pollack. The third tie in the class went to Shes Outta Line and Liz Gassaway of Shelbyville.

Jimmy McConnell and Santini made the blue ribbon ride in the Walking Stallions, 15.2 and Under, Five Years and Over, (Canter) division.

In the last pleasure class of the evening, the Western Park Pleasure class had four entries. Making the ride down victory lane in this class was Strega and Anne Frank. Second in the good class went to Sky Full of Gold and Patti Pollack.

Receiving the blue ribbon in the Owner-Amateur Riders on Three-Year-Old Walking Stallions was I'm Redeemed and Kenny Compton. The reserve award was claimed by Boure with Carol Lackey in the irons.

Class 28 saw the Two-Year-Old Walking Stallions enter the ring. Riding into the winner's circle in this class of young horses was the competitive team of Major Sky Command and Brent Grider out of the Bluegrass State of Kentucky. The reserve honors went to Joses Knight and Joe Fleming of Shelbyville. The third place award was given to The Batters Up and Tim Gray.

General Kennedy and Edgar Abernathy grabbed the victory in the Walking Mares or Geldings, 15.2 and Under, Five Years and Over (Canter) class. The second place award went to Pushin For Parole and Brad Beard.

Class number 30 was the Owner-Amateur Riders 50 Years and Over on Walking Horses. Receiving the blue ribbon was the crowd favorite, I'm Packin a Pistol and Charlene Gibson. The reserve honor and the red ribbon went to I'm Stan The Man and Ben Brogdon. The third tie in the class went to Ebs Night Charger and Sally Fleck.

The final class of the night was The Owner Amateur Riders on Two-Year-Old Mares or Geldings. Riding out of the line up and into the winners' circle was Poisons Splash of Gin and Lisa Baum from Shelbyville. The reserve honors went to Music City Jazz and Laura Brandon of Franklin.

Thursday night results

Following are Thursday night's results, according to the Celebration: Reserve in the Owner-Amateur Riders on Walking Mares or Geldings, 15.2 and Under class went to Shelley Lewis and Pushin For Parole.

Charlie Green and We're Ebony and Ivory captured the blue in the Two-Year-Old Walking Mares and Gelding Riders Cup Class for Ben and Dr. Lynda Brogden. Reserve honors went to Cash's Baby Girl with Jonathan Watts in the irons.

For the Owner-Amateur Riders on Two-Year-Old Walking Stallions Class, I'm Bellagio and Clay Mills were given the blue ribbon. The reserve honors went to Willie Do and Patti Pollack. Joses Dark-N-Stormy and Tricia Timmons received the third ribbon.

The Owner-Amateur County Pleasure, Gentlemen entered the ring as the fourth class. Princess Power and Jared Carrier made their way to the Winner's Circle for this class. Second place went to Prides General Delivery and Tim Brooks for Montverde Academy. The yellow ribbon was given to Xtreme Command and Mike Bell.

Don Julio and Alie Napier topped the Owner Amateur Riders on Walking Stallions, 15.2 and Under class. The reserve award went to Rocky Mountain Sky and Lucky Collins.

The sixth class of the night was for the Plantation Pleasure Walking Horses, Lite Shod. Castastrophic and Laurie Toone of Bell Buckle were given the honors for this class. The red ribbon was given to Major Orders and Patrick Thomas.

Jeff Green rode Showboats Showgirl and received the blue ribbon in the Walking Mares or Geldings, Over 15.2, Five Years and Over (Canter) class.

For the Owner-Amateur Country Pleasure, Lady Riders, Maggie Moore aboard Cowboy on Parole took the winner's circle. Reserve honors went to Sheeza Reba and Denis Underwood. The yellow ribbon went to Coppertops Miss Penny and Paige Montgomery.

Taking home the blue ribbon was Loose N Busty and Jacquelyn Brantley in the Walking Horse Trainer's Auxiliary Members on Walking Horses class. This was the entry of Jack Heffington of Murfreesboro and Shelbyville.

The Owner-Amateur Riders on Three-Year-Old Walking Mares or Geldings is always a crowd favorite. This year carrying a blue ribbon was Paroled in Texas and Holly Coggin. The reserved honors went to Crush and Whitney Breedlove. The third place tie and the yellow ribbon went to Dangerous Dollar and Jimmy Grant.

Riding into the winner's circle for the Four-Year-Old Walking Stallions (Canter) was Scratch Player and Winky Groover of Shelbyville. This is the entry of Crawford Colts out of Georgia.

The top of the class for Owner-Amateur Riders on Walking Ponies, 60" and Under was I'm Street Legal and Laura Lester. Reserved honors went to Carman Generator and Charles Craddock.

The Owner-Amateur Western Trail Pleasure class is always a treat. Taking the blue ribbon circle was Santa Emelia and Jared Carrier. The second place ribbon went to Sioza and Allison Thorson. The third place ribbon was awarded to Loot and Ashley Wadsworth.

The Silver Bandit and Kim Leonard made the winning ride for the Owner-Amateur Riders on Park Pleasure Walking Horses. The red ribbon was awarded to Overpass and Patti Pollack for Pollack's Silver Spur Ranch.

General Kennedy and Debbie McCaskill won the Owner-Amateur Riders on Walking Geldings, over 15.2 division.

The first day of the show ended with the Owner-Amateur Riders on Four-Year-Old Walking Mares or Geldings. Taking the final blue ribbon of the evening was I'm Dangerous With Cash and Jimmy Grant. The reserved honors went to Amnesty and Betty Warren. The third place tie went to Getting Out On Parole and Gail Walling of Shelbyville.
