Violet Iona Bemrose, 93 of Shelbyville died Monday at Bedford County Nursing Home after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Southeast Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, where she was a member, with Joe Vincent officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. EDT Friday at the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Springfield, Ohio with Allen Geeting officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Doak-Howell Funeral Home and beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
