FAST finalizes board of directors

The Foundation for the Advancement and Support of the Tennessee Walking Show Horse (FAST) has finalized its board with the appointments of Bruce Vaughn, Eugene Ray and David Landrum.

Vaughn is a long-time owner and exhibitor of Tennessee walking horses and also serves on the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders' and Exhibitors' Association Executive Committee. Vaughn is from Valley City, Ohio.

Ray, mayor of Bedford County, and has been a supporter of the Tennessee walking horse for many years.

Landrum is a World Grand Champion walking horse trainer from Franklin and a past president of the Walking Horse Trainers' Association, currently sitting on the board of directors.

Landrum, Ray and Vaughn join Brenda Carlon, Bob Ramsbottom, Lee McGartland, Jeffrey Howard, Kathy Zeis, Secretary/Treasurer, Kasey Kesselring, vice president, and Mike Inman, president, on the board of FAST.

FAST's mission statement is to engage in fundraising initiatives to provide financial support via tax deductable donations for the advancement and support of the Tennessee Walking Show Horse in the areas of education, equine welfare, the promotion and preservation of the Tennessee walking horse shows and exhibitions, preservation of the breed and scientific research and development.
