Saturday, August 29, 2009
Three-Year-Old Stallion classes dominated competition at the 71st Annual Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration on Friday night. The always popular Three-Year-Old Walking Stallions class was split into two divisions. Division A's blue ribbon winner was Folsom Prison Blues with Rodney Dick. Link Webb atop George W. McClintock rode to the Blue Ribbon Circle in Division B.

Next in the ring was Two-Year-Old Walking Geldings as 9 In The Sky and Wayne Jones rode away with the win and the blue ribbon. Reserve honors went to Bacardi and Me with Chad Williams.

The Lineman and Chad Williams took top honors in the Four-Year-Old Walking Geldings (Canter) class. Jerry Collier and Hytone On Line followed with reserve honors.

Owner-Amateur Riders on Park Pleasure Walking Horses class's blue ribbon goes to Yao Ming and Nicole Coffey. He's On Georgia and Kelly Gordon rode into the reserve honors position.

My First Dollar and George Ann Pratt wore the blue ribbon again this year for the Owner-Amateur Lady Riders on Walking Mares class. Brenda Carlon and Bos Shenia Rose come in right behind for reserve honors.
