Feet, Lady Feet run fifth

Webb's boys and girls raced to fifth-place finishes in a cross country meet at Vaughn's Creek in Nashville on Tuesday.

Montgomery Bell Academy's 35 points were good enough for tops on the boys side, followed by David Lipscomb (40), Martin Luther King (117), Hume Fog (135), Webb (185) and CPA (240). Franklin Road Academy did not score.

Webb's Damien' Launay finished in 17 minutes, 46 seconds to claim first overall. David Lipscomb's Andrew Edgeworth owned second (17:47).

On the girls side, David Lipscomb's 42 points headed the field. Hume Fog (79) was second, Harpeth Hall (83) third, MLK (110) and Webb (234).

Miranda Klein of David Lipscomb owned the top female time of 19:45. Jessica York finished fifth overall after clocking a 22:51 for the Lady Feet.
