Katie Jones wasted little time getting fitted for her hat trick, netting three goals in the first half as Webb's Lady Feet pounded Cannon County 5-0 in Bell Buckle.

Molly Howell, Melissa Wisniewski and Aurora MacDougall provided Jones with assists.

"Passing really improved tonight," Webb coach Adrian Anderson said. "We moved the ball around the field and exploited gaps in their defense."

Wisniewski's twine-thinner in the 33rd minute came off an assist from Karly Grissom and made it 4-0 at the half. Anne Windham took a corner kick from Jones to post the final goal in the 46th minute.

The defense was strong throughout for the Lady Feet (7-3) as goalkeeper Caroline Smith needed to make only one save.

Webb faces Middle Tennessee Christian in Murfreesboro on Thursday.
