The victim arrived at the Bedford County Sheriff's Department with a probe embedded in his lower abdomen and a "place" on his chest where another probe had been, Officer Sam Jacobs said. Jacobs was told the probes were from a Taser shot by "Carlos the bondsman."
Juan Carlos Alvarado, 47, of Cy Thomas Road was arrested and posted $5,000 bond, police and Bedford County Jail records indicate.
The victim told police an argument erupted when Alvarado arrived at his Vine Street home "irate" over a late rent payment and said he was going to have him evicted.
"Carlos was yelling at him and he (the victim) started yelling back," Jacobs said in his report. "Carlos produced a Taser gun and pulled the trigger.
"When the electric shock was over with, he (the victim) grabbed the wires and broke them."
Alvarado allegedly told the victim he was going to tase him again, drawing a response that he'd have to get another gun because the one he had would do him no good.
The probe from the victim's abdomen was kept by police for evidence, according to the report.

wow.
good enough for him!he thinks he is all that i'm glad someone put him in is place.and i hope it hurt!!!!
If the man would pay his rent on time, this would not have happened!! Not taking responsibility for your actions results in consequences. Maybe next time he will pay his bills!!!
This gives a whole new meaning to a late "charge".
Carlos.... lol.. glad someone got him arrested. He walks around all high and mighty and thinks he knows it all. Im amused. Way to go Carlos for making yourself look like a fool! He scoffs at others going to jail. lol. so Carlos.... Whos the joke now?? only use your taser when u are arresting, not assaulting someone. Guess it got u in trouble finally.
LOL Evil Monkey!!! Can't wait to hear the defense on this one...the man still had one of the probes imbeded in him!! Wonder if Carlos will lose his ability to write bonds in Bedford County until this is resolved???
Cut him some slack. He probably had a bad childhood....
carlos... he's a bright one... ain't he. lol
You guys (posters) crack me up! Thanks for the chuckle tonight. Carlos, dude, take a chill pill! Was it really worth it?! still laughing...
Carlos, did you bail yourself out?
"carlos... he's a bright one... ain't he. lol

He's "shockingly" fast with that taser gun. What has me "stunned" is how did the victim get to the Sheriff's Dept.
Roland...I did wonder that myself...still chuckling...
Ah, yes...Carlos. I remember you. You talk too much. :)
You can't just Tase some dude over a rent payment. That's "Assualt with A Battery". haha I crack myself up.
Psssst...Please don't tell my wife how them dadburned taser guns work. I'm hoping to plant my butt in a chair and watch some football this weekend and she might just want to "jolt" me into finishing the living room.
Carlos has thought he was the law for a long time. If the law applies to him like it should on this charge maybe they will take his taser gun away before he uses a real one. He's a bully and someone was bound to get hurt. Glad it wasn't worse than it was.
I think hes a joke
I think hes a joke
tattoosand scars I won't tell your wife how to get you motivated...your secret of lounging is safe with me.
I think as citizens we should get together and make sure that he is disqualified as a bondsman. If he would do this to someone over rent..what is he going to do to a clients?
WOwwwwwwwwwwwww! just remember that there are 2 sides to every story!
I am friend of carlos! do you know that he had a witness with him when he went to collect the rent? that dude went in his office and thruw the money at his secretary lasta month! I hear dude attacked carlos with a chair or table! YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO DEFEND YOURSELF!!!!
Moral Monkey,
I have read your broken record comments on several stories in the last few days. While I see and agree with your point that people are too quick to judge, they have every right to do so.
Many of the people in Bedford County know the people in question, and may have somewhat of an educated OPINION on them. They are within their rights to voice it on whatever forum that they please as long as they abide by the rules. If you are interested, the rules of this forum are posted above the comment section. If you feel that the comments are offensive, then you should flag them as such.
I would be more offended by your comments that anyone who voices their opinion was obviously there to witness the attack. I wasn't aware that anyone had to be physically present to say what is on their mind.
I realize that there are two sides to every story. The beauty of the judicial system is that both sides have the opportunity to be heard. However, that is the judicial system. That right ends there. Here in the court of public opinion, there is no obligation to hold back scrutiny, opinion, bias, and judgement.
As for the lack of neutral reporting, how is that so? The story that I read was taken by the police report itself. Are you also accusing the police department of being one-sided in their arrest?
Finally, your accusation that the T-G allows such posts and biased stories to create sales is shallow. Do you think that they should remove advertisements completely and raise the rates on the paper 100 fold? Perhaps they should begin charging to read the news online? That could replace the lost revenue. Though then, they would be strictly at the mercy of the reader. You do not sound like one who would pay for access to this site.
The difference is simple. You are railing against people who state their opinion.
I am making sure that you know the difference between an inalienable right and a conviction in a court of law.
Where did I say that you were not allowed an opinion? I, unlike you, can point out several instances in which you have done so.
Also, I'd like to point out that there is a difference between the words advice and advise. You should most definitely learn it before you try to change the mindset of anyone.
