Wheels, camcorder taken by thieves

Wheels and tires were stolen from a vehicle at Pirtle & Howerton Automotive, North Main Street, between Friday and Monday, Shelbyville police were told.

A Hitachi digital camcorder was taken from its bag at a West Lane Street residence sometime since mid-October, police said.

The following were arrested since Monday by the Bedford County Sheriff's Department, Shelbyville Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol or 17th Judicial District Drug Task Force. They are only charged; guilt or innocence will be determined by the courts.

Eliazar Aparicio Aparicio, 28, Fairfield Pike; no driver's license/exhibited on demand; released, $500 bond

Jesse Andrew Comstock, 24, Church Cross Road; failure to appear; released, $250 bond

Lee Paul Hargrove, 27, Kingston Corner Road; domestic assault; released, $10,000 bond

DeAngelo Montez Laye, 32, Green Lane; failure to appear, resist stop/frisk/halt/search; held, $5,000 bond

VIncent Turrell McGear, 27, Cherokee Trail; theft of property, domestic assault; held, $4,000 bond

Juan Carlos Michel-Escareno, 21, Elm Street; driving on revoked/suspended license (two counts), possession of schedule VI drug; released, $3,500 bond

Gary Mooningham Jr., 30, Highway 64 East; DUI, driving on revoked/suspended license, habitual motor vehicle offender, leaving scene of accident, financial responsibility; held, $35,000 bond

James Scott Williams, 21, Fayetteville; violation of probation; released, $2,500 bond

Jarrod Alan Wood, 30, Tullahoma; bondsman surrender (failure to appear); released, $1,000 bond
