Harris girls romp over Bridgeforth

Harris Middle's Eaglettes claimed a 41-13 win over host Pulaski Bridgeforth on Tuesday night.

Teanna Edmondson pitched in 16 points, while Riley Davis added 10.

The Eaglettes (2-1) led 6-2 at the end of the first quarter, increased the lead to 19-5 at intermission and pulled away to a 33-11 advantage going into the fourth stanza.

Bridgeforth 47, Harris 40 (B): The Eagles (1-2) let a first-half advantage slip away in the third quarter as Harris led 18-17 at halftime but were outscored 15-7 in the third quarter.

Tre Trice topped the Eagles with 20 points. Kendall Ray added seven.

Kimani Bledsoe led the winners with 18 with Malik Lawrence contributing 11.

Harris entertains Warren County on Thursday in a Central Tennessee Conference matchup at 6:30.

Chicken dinner: The Harris baseball team will host a chicken dinner before the game Thursday night in the cafeteria from 4:30 to 6:30.

Tickets are $7 and can be purchased at the door. Takeouts will be available.
