Chill causes water main break

Workers from Shelbyville Power, Water and Sewerage System mark the pavement on Union Street Thursday morning to begin repairs of a water main break caused by continued subfreezing temperatures. Another water main break on Maplewood Drive was reported earlier Wednesday. This extreme cold weather forecast through the weekend into next week may cause more problems for public works and buildings without heat.
