Feet spread out scoring in win

Tuesday, January 26, 2010
Webb utilized another balanced attack to walk away from an East/Middle Region contest with a victory.

Five different Feet scored seven or more points to help them defeat visiting Mt. Juliet Christian Academy 68-39 Saturday night.

The teams were knotted at 10-all after a quarter before the hosts started to separate in the second stanza, heading to the locker room at the break up 31-24.

Tremendous full-court pressure by Webb (14-5, 7-1 East/Middle) in the third period effectively put the game out of reach as it outscored MJC 21-3.

"We got contributions from a lot of different people," Webb coach Jeff Mitchell said. "Mt. Juliet played extremely hard in that first half. We pressed them and they ran out of gas a little I think in the third quarter."

Miles Davis led the Blue and Gold with 18 points, followed by Logan Burchett's 17 and Hunter Foutch's 15.

The Feet take on Lancaster Christian in Bell Buckle tonight at 7:30.
