Boyce seeks re-election as sheriff

Randall Boyce has announced his candidacy for re-election as Bedford County Sheriff in the May 4 Democratic primary.

He was first elected sheriff in 2006.

Boyce, a Bedford County native, lives in Wheel. He has two children and three grandchildren. He is a certified law enforcement officer with numerous in-service hours.

A member of the American Quarter Horse Association, he raises Limousin cattle and is a member of the North American Limousin Foundation. He attends Edgemont Baptist Church.

"It has been my honor to serve the citizens of Bedford County for the past four years as your sheriff," said Boyce. "My open-door policy has given me the opportunity to resolve concerns and understand the needs of the people. The Sheriff's Department continues to take positive steps forward and will work diligently to keep our community a safe place to live and raise our families."
