Thefts investigated by Shelbyville police

*A compact disc player was stolen from the dashboard of a car at Daniel's Auto Clinic, Deery Street, overnight Friday.

The police report indicated the car was unable to be locked.

*A cell phone was taken at a Purdy Court home and a wallet and contents from an apartment at Bedford Manor, Barksdale Lane, police said.
