Graham, a registered nurse for seven years, works at StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna. A 1990 graduate of Shelbyville Central High School, she received her nursing degree from Motlow State Community College in 2003.
She has been married to Chad Graham for 17 years and has two children.
She has served on both the Community Development Center board of directors and the Family Support Council. She is a member of Vanderbilt Children's Hospital's F.A.C.T. (Families As Classroom Teachers) program, helping medical students understand the difficulties families face having a child with a rare disability.
Graham attended the Tennessee Partners in Policymaking Leadership Institute, where she studied policymaking and advocacy on local, state, and federal levels.
She said she has been a strong advocate for people with special needs and will bring that same passion to the commission if elected.
"I believe the cornerstone of local government's responsibility is education and public safety," she said.
