Guinn worked for Walmart for 13 years, including five years in retail management, and currently works as a stay-at-home mother.
She attended Liberty School and is a 1990 honors graduate of Shelbyville Central High School. She is a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene and currently attends Mt. Hermon Church of the Nazarene. She and her husband Rodney have two children. She has coached junior pro baskeball at Liberty for the past four years and is a member of its PTO, including one year as president. She has been a member of the PATS booster club for four years and currently serves as a board member. Since the inception of Liberty Youth Football Lague two years ago, she has worked admissions.
"I am dedicated to providing the children of Bedford County with the best education possible in the public school forum. It is my desire to serve the people of District Four and be the voice for my neighbors and friends," said Guinn. "I believe my availability and passion make me the best candidate for this position .... By limiting my involvement in other extracurricular activities, I am allowing myself better availability for the duties, responsibilities and obligations that will accompany this position."
