Widening work continues

Prepare to slow down or stop if you are heading to Tullahoma on U.S. 41A South as crews working for the Tennessee Department of Transportation continue to change the landscape of southern Bedford County near the Moore County line and redevelop the aging road into a four-lane highway. TDOT is working on a section between Magnolia Lane outside of Tullahoma to a point near Shipmans Creek Road. The segment had originally been planned to be completed to State Route 276 (Thompson Creek Road) but was divided into two parts due to construction funding.
