Cell phone stolen

A cell phone was stolen from an Oak Street residence early Wednesday night, Shelbyville police said.

Glass was broken from a back door to gain entry, according to the report.

Drug charge

Marijuana was found in the purse of a Bedford County woman after a traffic stop in Shelbyville on Tuesday night, police said.

Erika Amber Robb, 20, Halls Mill Road, was charged with possession of a schedule VI drug after a small bag was confiscated. She posted $250 bond.

Robb was a passenger in a car being driven on North Main Street without headlights at night, police said. Officer Jose Garza said he was granted permission to search the vehicle after noticing Robb "moving around a lot" as it was being stopped.
