The Viqueens defeated Zion Christian 25-23, 17-25, 15-13 in the first match of the afternoon.
Trailing 16-14 in the first game, senior Georgia Ralston toed the service line and strung together four straight points to ease Community out in front and they didn't trail again.
The second game was neck-and-neck in the early stages until the visitors from Columbia went on runs of 5-0 and 6-0 to go up 24-16 before closing out the game.
The Purple and Gold came up with the clutch digs with the third game on the line to claim the match.
"We did a great job of playing hard and finding the holes when it was necessary," Community coach Allison Layne-Martin said. "I was proud of the fight that we maintained throughout the game."
Ralston totaled 11 points, including five aces. CorrieAnn Hickerson contributed 10 points. Hannah Busbee provided four kills and three blocks. Tiffany Davis notched four kills as well. Becky Marchese came off the bench to total five points.
Tullahoma 2, Community 1: The Lady Wildcats rebounded from some struggles early on to win 13-25, 25-20, 15-8.
"We need to take more advantages on the free balls and easy passes over the net that we are given," Layne-Martin said. "We let too many balls drop that we didn't get our feet to. We are continually improving every game."
Davis led the Viqueens (2-3) with 10 points, five aces and three digs. Ralston chipped in four points and three kills. Allison Perryman had five points.
Community has a road match at Cannon County today at 1:45.
