"I would greatly appreciate your vote," he said. "I promise to continue to search for ways to use our tax dollars in the most cost-effective and responsible ways possible to benefit the citizens of Shelbyville. I am always available to listen to your suggestions and concerns. I will try to find answers to the questions asked of me. I have learned a great deal in the two years I have been serving on the City Council. I love this town, and the people who live here, and will always strive to do what is right for the city. It would be an honor to serve the next four years."
