Mrs. Marilyn Wade Parker, 86, of Shelbyville died Wednesday, April 18th, at Glen Oaks Convalescent Center. She was born April 6, 1926 in Camden, Arkansas.
She was a Graduate of the University of Missouri; a member of Chi Omega Sorority at the University of Tennessee Knoxville; a retired journalist; member of First Christian Church and a member of the D.A.R.
She was the daughter of the late Henry Grady Wade and Mary Lurline Crick Wade. She was preceded in death by husbands, Harold Huffine and John I. Parker.
She is survived by two sons, J. Huffine of Bend, Oregon, Wade Huffine of Shelbyville; a daughter, Jeannie Young of Linden; brother, Henry Wade of Greenville, Tennessee; six
grandchildren, one great-grandchild, four nieces and one nephew.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 23rd, at Old Orchard Cemetery in Petersburg. Hillcrest Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
