Trevecca's adult degree program explained at Motlow

Friday, July 27, 2012

LYNCHBURG -- In as little as 13 months, students can finish a bachelor's degree attending weekly classes at Motlow College through Trevecca Nazarene University's Adult Degree Program.

For those wanting to learn more about the program, Trevecca is hosting a public information session at Motlow's Moore County campus from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7. The meeting will be held in the Marcum Technology Center, Room 134.

Julie Rigsby, Trevecca's coordinator of student services, also announced that in addition to the bachelor's degree in management and human relations (MHR), Trevecca will offer a master's degree in business administration for the first time since 2008 at Motlow's Moore County campus. Students can choose to minor in one of four areas: Project Management, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or Management and Leadership.

"Attending this informational session is a great first step for someone considering going back to school," Rigsby said. "We are very excited about our programs at Motlow this fall. We will be giving away a Kindle Fire and two $250 scholarships at the meeting."

She noted registrants must be in attendance to win.

Personal advisors will be available to answer questions about admissions and financial aid. Classes for the MHR adult degree program begin Aug. 30 and the MBA program starts Sept. 27 at Motlow College.
