James E. "Jimmy" Kimbro, age 72, of the Deason Community, went on to meet the Lord peacefully surrounded by family and friends at Heritage Medical Center on July 27, 2012.
Mr. Kimbro and his wife, Aleitha, were founders and owners of Bedford Tack since 1979. He was an avid cattle farmer and well respected in the cattle industry and business world. He served in the National Guard and U.S. Army. He was always aware of the needs of others. He gave so willingly to those in need, whether it be to an individual or Churches he attended, and never wanted to be recognized for his gestures. His wish would be to inspire others to do the same. He was so deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his wife of 51 years, his family, and his friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dorsey Kimbro; mother, Mai Dee Kimbro; daughter, Sandra Dee Kimbro; and brother, Larry Kimbro.
He is survived by his wife, Aleitha Kimbro; daughter, Cindy and her husband Ron Gordon; daughter, Laura and her husband Shannon Huff; grandchildren, Niki and Tyler Huff and Chad Gordon; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation services will be held Monday, July 30th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Funeral will be Tuesday, July, 31st at 11:00 a.m. at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
