Marjorie Pickle Rogers Wanninger, 93, of Shelbyville died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012 at The Heart Remembers.
Graveside services will be 1 PM Thursday, August 9, 2012, at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville. Claire Doyle will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
She was born December 3, 1918, in Bedford County, to the late Charles Ross and Rosie Anna Cook Pickle. She was retired from the State of Tennessee, and was a member of the McKendree United Methodist Church. She was well known for her needlework skills and her love of gardening, having held memberships in the Embroiderers Guild of America and The American Rose Society. She was also a very popular square dance partner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Rogers and siblings Lula Mae Pickle Chunn, Pauline Pickle Bradley, and Marvin Edward (Jack) Pickle.
She is survived by nieces Charlene Judd, Linda Mathews, and Barbara Plamowski, all of Shelbyville, and Marjorie Renfroe, of Tallassee, Alabama; nephews, Lanny Bradley, of Shelbyville, and Harlin Chunn, of Dallas, Texas.
