Jail escapee Andrew Phillip Marshall is in custody, investigators say.
Marshall was captured at approximately 10:30 p.m. Sunday by Bedford County deputies as he ran through Tillett's Trailer Court off Maidson Street, investigators said.
City and county had been seaching the area since 10:15 p.m. Sunday after a report was received that Marshall was on foot, wearing full camouflage, in the area between King Arthur Trailer Court and H.V. Griffin Park.
Marshall was spotted at Cooper Steel, North Hillcrest Drive, by Sgt. Charles Merlo of the SHelbyville Police Department. Cpl. Ben Burris and Sgt. Josh Tolar of the Bedford County Sheriff's Department saw Marshall running between two trailers in Tillett's Trailer Park.
A short foot chase ended with Marshall being arrested by Tolar with assistance from Burris. Marshall resisted arrest briefly, Tolar said.
Marshall, 19, escaped from Bedford County Jail late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, officials said.
It's the second time in just over a month Marshall has escaped custody. He walked away from a work crew on Himesville Road on July 9 and was apprehended July 14 at a King Arthur Trailer Court home.
Officials said Marshall removed a light fixture and escaped through the roof. He was last seen at 10 p.m. Saturday.
