Mrs. Myrtle Lamb Price, age 90, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012, at Heritage Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday, August 17, 2012, at First Christian Church. Reverend Tom Bierovic will officiate, with burial to follow in the Cothran Cemetery in Rover.
Visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.
She was born December 25, 1921, in Rutherford County, to the late Robert Benjamin and Alta Mae Carlton Lamb. She was a retired hairdresser and faithful member of First Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Avery M. Price, in 1983, and a son, Randy Price. Also preceding her in passing are brother and sisters, Bill Lamb, Rothwell Camp, Fran Klooz, and Bennie Taylor.
She is survived by three sons, Philip Price, and his wife Kaye, of Arlington, Tennessee, Larry Price and his wife Carol and Don Price, and his wife Susan; a daughter in law, Connie Price, all of Shelbyville; two sisters, Joyce Runez Atterholt and Ruth Deming, both of Shelbyville; seven grandchildren, Michael Price, and his wife Jenise, David Price, Stephen Price, Susan Price, Jonathan Price, Courtney Cruse, and her husband Donnie, and Bryan Price; four great grandchildren, Nicholas Price, Noah Price, Caitlyn Price, and Alayna Cruse.
Memorials may be made to First Christian Church.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
