A $500 reward is being offered for information on individuals who dumped large amounts of garbage along a two-mile stretch of Cathey Road and Thompson Creek Road on Saturday night.
Among items dumped were a bed liner for a Ford truck, a storm door, lumber and a massive number of shingles.
"It appeared that it was possibly hauled in on a flatbed dually truck and that one or more people were scooping the shingles off the truck while someone was driving," Sgt. Josh Tolar said in his report.
"There are two large piles on the roadside where they stopped and dumped shingles for some time.:
The trail of trash was dumped at or shortly after sunset, Tolar was told.
The reward is being offered by several "outraged" property owners in the area, Tolar said.
