The wife and daughter of a Unionville man found dead Wednesday in his home have been charged with soliciting his murder.

Susan Jo "Sue" Walls, 54, the wife of victim Larry Walls Sr., and their daughter Dawn Walls, 27, of Antioch were arrested Saturday night by Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents.

Sean Gearhardt, 20, and Jason Starrick, 25, who are roommates in an Antioch apartment with Dawn Walls, are charged with criminal homicide.

Deal revealed

"The investigation revealed that Sue and Dawn Walls entered into an agreement to pay Starrick and Gearhardt $400 to kill the victim," TBI information officer Kristen Helm said.

The two men allegedly killed Walls while the women were at a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant in Nashville, officials said. Both men were arrested Friday.

Frantic call

She called 911 at approximately 3:13 p.m. Wednesday after finding her husband dead in their ransacked home, according to the TBI.

The TBI responded after being requested by the Bedford County Sheriff's Department and the district attorney's office. Agents, along with members of the Nashville Crime Laboratory's Violent Crime Response Team, gathered evidence from the scene.
