Mrs. Zelma Lorene Brown Fults, 96, of Shelbyville passed away quietly at the home of her daughter, Billie Carroll, Thursday, August 23, 2012. She was a retired employee of Uniroyal; former greeter at Walmart; a longtime member of Shelbyville Mills Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for a number of years and a member of the Eastern Star.
She was the daughter of the late John William and Emma Lee Brown and the wife of the late Waufield Fults. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Barbara Ann Lovvorn, four brothers, Tom, Marvin, Murphy and James Brown; eight sisters, Tennie Stacy, Mattie Stacy, Mary Dona Rodgers, JohnAnna Rogers, Ruby Lee, Pearl Rogers, Bettie Jane Bush and Louise Baltimore.
She is survived by a son, David G. (Georgia) Fults; two daughters, Billie Carroll and Ruth (Alton) Cartwright; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 26th, at Hillcrest Funeral Home, Revs. Charles Williams and Ronnie Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
