Mrs. Lillian Noami Canady Cook, age 83, passed away on Friday, Aug. 24 at Glen Oaks Convalescent Center.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 25 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Sunday, Aug. 26 at 3 p.m. with visitation from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the chapel at Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Canady officiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery.
She was born May 26, 1929 to the late Thomas and Dora Mae Canady. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Cook, and one brother, Paul Canady.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn (James) Ragdale of Shelbyville and Peggy (Raymond) Tucker of Haskins Chapel Community; four grandsons Shane Cook, Mike (Shay) Tucker, Jamie (Shannon) Ragsdale and Jonathan Ragsdale; eight grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Beatrice Jones and Juantia Canady; two brothers, J.R. (Frances) Canady and Hugh (Jean) Canady; and her Glen Oaks family.
