"We were definitely able to get the ball forward and tried to capitalize on winning the ball in the upper end of the field. We had a lot of people taking a lot of shots," said Webb coach Karla Vogt.
Webb continued to hold the momentum into the second half and broke the game wide open with a pair of quick goals.

Webb added two more goals by Anna Clair Tuma and Ruth Watson in the final 23 minutes of the match to finish 6-0.
Vogt said a key part of controlling that tempo came from the midfielders, who wouldn't let Cornersville past midfield.
"We tried to control the center as much we could. We wanted to push the midfielders and everyone up to keep everything forward," she said.
While the season is still young, Vogt was pleased with the start the team is off to.
"We lost 12 seniors from last year so we were able to get a lot of those new girls in. We were able to get everyone in. We've got some new kids trying to figure out everything," she said.
Vogt also said getting those newer players playing time would be key in helping find the best on-field team possible.
"It was a good game to start at home with. We had a nice crowd to get the girls going," she said.
Webb returns home on Tuesday when the Lady Feet will host the Shelbyville Eaglettes in an cross-county match up.
