The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration has announced that the entry fee for the World Grand Championship class will be refunded in full if the entry does not show for any reason. The $2,500 entry fee is due by Friday at noon.

The 74th Annual Celebration culminates with the crowning of the World Grand Champion Tennessee Walking Horse on Saturday in class 177. The refundable entry fee is not a new policy as the Celebration has instituted the same in 2009, 2012 and 2011.

Autograph session

Wednesday night, Gary Edwards and reigning World Grand Champion Tennessee Walking Horse, Game World owned by Chester and Lynda Stokes of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, will host an autograph session outside of the Blue Ribbon Circle Club from 5:30 -- 6:30 p.m.

"We'll celebrate Game World's year-long reign as the top ambassador of the breed," Celebration officials said, in a press release. "You won't want to miss the exciting duo of Gary Edwards and Game World outside the Blue Ribbon Circle Club."
