BELL BUCKLE -- Friday night lights took on a whole new meaning in Bell Buckle on Friday night for the Webb Feet.

For the first time in school history, stadium lights illuminated the gridiron during Webb's showdown with Community Christian.

With the Feet returning home for a monumental night, Webb hit the field with hopes of extending its win streak to five games.

Sudden fall

Those hopes, however, fell short as the visitors bested the Feet 44-6.

Webb committed four key turnovers which led to 24 points on the board for Christian Community.

Early on, though, Webb was able to show some vigor and was able to respond following an 82-yard touchdown run by Christian Community.

Down 6-0 early in the second, Alex Husley burst through the goal line stand and accounted for Webb's lone score.

Following Webb's score, the visitors tacked on two more second-quarter touchdowns, including an 80-yard touchdown run and a 54-yard pick six.

Prior to Friday night's game, Webb held a ceremony to commemorate the new stadium lights that were installed. Just before kickoff, donors were recognized for their efforts in helping to light up the field.

Defensive woes

Webb just couldn't come up with the right defensive combinations to stop the visiting Colts.

Christian Community added another 22 points in the third quarter and was able to mostly contain the Feet offense.

The Colts coasted off the big third quarter and cruised to the final score of 44-6.

Neither team found the end zone in the fourth quarter.

Webb quarterback Zach Fenner was 4-of-12 passing for 22 yards. Hulsey led the Webb offense with 116 yards on 23 touches. Rio Russell also broke the 100-yard barrier on the ground with 102 yards piled up on 13 carries.

Defensively, Sam Coleman and Houston Jones led Webb with five tackles apiece. Hulsey also had four tackles to his credit.

Webb will be on the road this Friday as the Feet travel to Franklin Classical with the hopes of a bounceback victory.
