Last month, the Tennessee Technology Center at Shelbyville honored U.S. Constitution Day by listening to a Power Point presentation by each program instructor to remind students on the creation of the U.S. Constitution, the preparation and process in forming the United States and the ratification process of the U.S. Constitution.

After the presentation, students were encouraged to view the copies of the original documents of the U.S. Constitution and the first Twelve Amendments located at the TTCS in the hallway outside the James L. Bomar Jr. Conference Room.

Students were invited to voluntarily take a 25 question quiz to test their knowledge of the U. S. Constitution. A student who scored 92 percent or higher on the quiz were eligible for a drawing to receive a one term tuition scholarship of $250.

Over 240 students participated in the quiz and 96 students scored a 92 percent or higher. The TTCS awarded the scholarship to Jon Cathey in the Automotive Technology program.
